O. K.
Rating:1.0
Details
From the Greek - Ola Kala meaning "all correct" or "all well." British proctors and instructors would use the contraction "O.K" instead of writing "ola kala" when grading papers.
Well, that's about the fifteenth explanation of OK that I've heard...why would British instructors be using Greek words to grade papers? Comment by: Dude    Rated:2/5
You're right about the explanations...but as to the Greek, it wasn't *that* many years ago that most everyone in school learned Greek and/or Latin. How else would you expect to read the Classics? Comment by: dbeierl
