Stop guessing and research when you are not sure. Baka Mitai is in two of my Nihon-go no Jisho (Japanese dictionaries). Oh, gramatically is spelled wrong. It's gramMatically. Exceptions to such a rule are program to programed or programer but only in informal/common acceptance, and in the U.S. Programmable and programmability still use double M's. Improper usage is more common because so-called 'professional' writers today are too lazy and ...well... like baka na gokibiru. I'd like to second that motion of "Proofreader".
